On 8 September 2025, Coris Invest Group took over the assets of TotalEnergies Marketing Burkina. On 5 December, Barka Energies was launched. The facilities, the teams and the standards stayed.
“Barka”
means thank you.
The name expresses gratitude towards God and towards the Burkinabè nation. It is not a turn of phrase: it is what a company says when it takes over a network built over seventy years and chooses to remain Burkinabè.
