Barka Energies is launched
Three months after taking over the assets of TotalEnergies Marketing Burkina, the new brand is presented in Ouagadougou. The entire workforce is retained.
On 5 December 2025, Barka Energies is presented in Ouagadougou. The company takes over the network built over seventy years by TotalEnergies Marketing Burkina, whose assets Coris Invest Group won on 8 September 2025 following a competitive tender.
The facilities, the teams and the operating standards are maintained. The entire workforce is retained — close to 3,600 direct jobs.
The name speaks gratitude: “Barka” means thank you.
